Leaders know the importance of conflict management

"...conflict management is more critical to career upward mobility than even communication and organizational skills." - HR Dive. At Camp Navigate, we teach even the most challenging Soft Skills at a young age. Even this young student realizes the importance of handling conflict respectfully! Your donation will impact the community by enabling us to teach the children of West-Central Indiana the importance of "employability" skills.

Our Impact

Camp Navigate opened its doors in 2017, unlike any other summer camp and after-school program. We primarily focus on much-needed employability and soft skills while also promoting healthy habits, community collaboration, and servant leadership. The concept of teaching these skills to our youth was overwhelmingly accepted and encouraged by local educators and business people.

Because our camp is unlike any other, our first summer camp was a quantifiable success, and Camp Navigate was encouraged to open an after-school program. As we prepare our future workforce through impactful programs all over the Wabash Valley, we have quickly experienced a great deal of growth. We now have impactful programs in West Terre Haute, St. Patrick's Catholic School, DeVaney Elementary, Lost Creek and Sugar Grove Elementary at Terre Haute First Baptist Church, as well as our newest addition, The Leaders Lab, our After After School Care program, located in the Ryves neighborhood at The Lab, 1668 Locust St.

Why Support Camp Navigate?

The concept of teaching “Soft Skills” or “Employability Skills'' to young children is well supported by research. These transferable skills are needed in every area of life and every career. Our goal at Camp Navigate is to connect children, pre-K through eighth grade, with the skills and traditional values to ensure successful futures. Each subsequent year’s growth has continued to encourage the entire Camp Navigate Community delightfully. When you support Camp Navigate, you support the development of these valuable skills and experiences for hundreds of children in the Wabash Valley.

And, as they say, “the rest is history.” In Camp Navigate philosophy, we say, “the rest is the FUTURE!”
